Once upon a time, I was a writer. I'm growing as a photographer. This is a mad marriage of both, evolving.

Buried in LaFayette

I am the guardian
to this wicked place
you should stop here
or else face disgrace

I am the guardian
wicked and wired
upon my post, doing the most
to protect those I have sired

Where were you when ….

Silent night
Holy night
All is calm
All is bright …

aw, puppy,
watch out for the demon come calling
watch out for the clouds full of rain
watch out for the creepy hand comin’ atcha
and remember not to bite!

This means Wisconsin to me
Sitting on the pier
and fishing
waiting for the first bite
swatting at mosquitos
the State Bird
waiting for the fish that might never come

Waiting for that el train
To take me back home
It gets so frigid and the wind bites
On my platform
Waiting on that el train
I hope it don’t pass me by
I need to get there to see
If my baby decided to stay

Buried in Lafayette
Someone decided to color me pretty
in my final room to decorate
my last time to express my self
my last breath to scream
color me alive!

Buried in Lafayette
Laying, At Rest
Waiting, for my break
to get in to heaven’s gates

The fog comes rolling in
blotting out shape and form
the coolness of the water
the calm before the storm

The fog comes rolling in
and hope slips away
just as the tree goes out of focus
into the white and gray.

Got my tamborine, that’s all I need!

I just want to go to sleep and not wake up for a thousand years.

savethemammoths:

Then, I’d finally get some peace. Then, I’d finally feel rested. Then I wouldn’t have to deal with all this chaos, this madness, this drama. It’s not like anyone would particularly miss me if I just slept through the rest of their lives.

Buried in Lafayette
Love is forever
Isn’t that right?
We seek it out,
Wish for it, dream of it,
and all we do pales in comparison.
How could we know,
after death,
love is forever,
and here we rot,
side-by-side.

I’m so thrifty,
Oh, so thrifty,
I’m so thrify, and nifty, and broke!
I need cheap things,
5 pants and pro-wings,
I’ll take anything you got for ten bucks!
